Carnival procession Wiesbaden

Thousands of Wiesbaden residents and many guests line the streets of the state capital to cheer on the 6,000 fools on their colourful and imaginative motif floats and the marching bands. As always, the start and finish is at Elsässer Platz.

Easter market and open Sunday

Schierstein harbor festival

The Schierstein Harbour Festival takes place every year on the second weekend in July. In addition to an amusement park and a 500-metre-long "Freßgass" on the harbour promenade, the big dragon boat race on the water is the sporting highlight. Rheingau Wine Week

Shooting star market

The atmospheric backdrop for the Wiesbaden shooting star market, which opens every year on the Tuesday before the first day of Advent, is the Schlossplatz square between the town hall and the city palace.
